Mersey sign South African overseas for 2023 season

Heaton Mersey Cricket Club can now confirm the signing of Anre Schutte for the 2023 season

Anre is an opening bat and right-arm seam bowler and comes over on the back of a breakthrough season in the South African Northerns Premier League.

He arrives Thursday 13th April ready for our preseason friendly @Droylsden CC on the 15th.

Anre will contribute across all sections of the cricket club with playing and coaching so everyone can expect to see a lot of him all season!

The club and all it's members welcome Anre and cannot wait to get started!!
